On the Road
You know those times when you aren’t quite sure how you got here, or if this is even real?
You stop moving. You start listening. You look around.
You become the One behind the eyes.
I love these moments because it's when we become conscious of our life. We can see who we are and what we are doing. It's a moment of connection, as if the light of our soul is being turned on and we can truly see for the first time. It's in that moment that we have the opportunity to take note, check our ‘status’, make a wise choice, or pivot to get back on our path. Tweak the programs we currently have running in our system.
I'm here now. Witnessing. Witnessing a shift.
My family and I made the choice to travel this year to soak up as much outdoor time as possible! The truth is nature is medicine, and we are hungry for it. We have begun our journey on the road, and so far it's been quite the experience. I have a new found appreciation for water and sewer systems. Camping humbles you. I feel myself teetering between the fast pace of the life I left behind and the simple life I am reaching for. Can I really just sit in front of this fire for hours? See you again soon.
